Mathieu is a Director in the Mid-Cap team at Abénex which he joined in 2011. He has worked on investments in: Blanchon, Prosol, Point Vision and Hygeco.
Mathieu was born near Lyon. His career began in 2002 in the financial department of Laboratoires Virbac, a specialist in animal health. He joined Deloitte in 2004 and worked there for seven years, predominantly on projects for large French companies. During his time at Deloitte, Mathieu developed particular expertise in the consumer sector with clients such as LVMH and Monoprix, and in services at Club Med and Orange. He acquired solid technical capabilities in auditing, financial analysis and internal control, which he is now able to utilise in his role at Abénex.
