Abenex, a longstanding European private equity firm, B-Corp certified and specialized in Small-cap & Mid-cap buyouts and real estate transactions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Johann Dupont as General Manager, marking a key milestone in enhancing the firm’s leadership and operational structure.
This new appointment reflects Abenex’s commitment to strengthening the firm’s governance, development and coordination across its teams and offices, located in Paris, Lyon, Milan, and Amsterdam.
Since joining Abenex in 2013, Johann has played a pivotal role in building and leading the firm’s operational team, which now includes seven seasoned professionals covering verticals such as Operations optimization, Sustainability, IT and Talent Management. Over the past decade, he has been actively involved in the structuring and development strategies of portfolio companies such as RG Safety LP Promotion, Hygeco, Blanchon and EDL. He also sits as a member of the investment committees of Abenex Small and Mid-cap funds.
In his new role, Johann will oversee Abenex’s day-to-day operations alongside co-Founders and Managing Partners Patrice Verrier and Olivier Moatti, while continuing to lead the operational team.
He will also contribute to Abenex’s strategy implementation and lead key projects to further bolster its operational efficiency and ensure continued dynamic growth of the platform.
The Abenex team today consists of 50+ professionals, with demonstrated and renowned expertise.
