At the time of Abenex’s acquisition, Score Groupe was the fourth largest operator in outsourced canteen management in France. The company offered high-quality services to private companies, private hospitals, retirement homes and schools. Score marketed three integrated service offerings:
– Traditional restaurants with coffee corners
– A delicatessen concept offering high-quality takeaway food
– “Food corner” restaurants offering several local cuisines.
– On-site canteens were supplied by a central kitchen. Restaurants controlled orders and inventories via an integrated IT system and had a dedicated chef and local team.
