Matthieu Balaÿ

Matthieu is a Managing Director in the Mid-Cap team at Abenex. He has worked on the investments in: Europa, Square, Ikos, AC Environnement, RG Safety and Buffalo Grill. Matthieu is originally from Lyon. He began his career in 2010 as a Financial Analyst in renewable energy projects at Crédit du Nord, before moving to the corporate finance department where he took part in ten structured financing operations as well as M&A of French SME companies. He was involved in the Hologram. Industries transaction, subsequently rebranded as Surys, during which he worked closely with the Abenex team and consequently decided to join the firm.

It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EU) No 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body as per Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012. The criteria of the BIA are distinct and independent from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies, and they are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
