Having joined Abenex in 2017 as a Project Manager, Karim Hoebanx is promoted to Manager.
Since his arrival at Abenex, he has notably participated in the investments in Eureka Education and Groupe ADF as well as in the external growth operations related to these companies (including the acquisition of Euridis Business School by Eureka Education).
Karim had previously gained more than 7 years of experience in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of BNP Paribas, where he worked successively in the Brussels, Frankfurt and Paris teams. He was involved in multiple Mid-Cap and Large-Cap M&A transactions for corporate clients and investment funds.
A Belgian national, Karim is a graduate of the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
Vincent Gouedard, who joined Abenex in 2014, has been promoted to Manager within Abenex’s operational team.
Vincent worked in the investment team of the Abenex MidCaps fund for 4 years during which he was involved in the acquisition of stakes in Cisbio and Hygeco. Drawing on this experience, he joined the operational team to support the development of these investments. For more than 10 years, Abenex has had a team dedicated to the operational support of its investments: 4 people are thus at the service of managers for the implementation of their development projects, particularly external growth and integration.
Prior to joining Abenex, Vincent gained experience in the Audit and M&A departments of KPMG in Paris, as well as in Corporate Development at EuNetworks in London. Vincent holds an MSc in Finance from Imperial College (London) and ESCE.
