Abenex, a historical European private equity fund, B-Corp certified and specialized in growth and buyout investments, is pleased to announce the opening of its new Milan office, led by Antonio Catalli (ex J.P. Morgan and Rothschild), Director, who joined Abenex in 2021 to develop Abenex’ activities on the Italian market.
In conjunction with this expansion, Abenex is delighted to introduce two professionals who have recently joined the team:
Jacopo Bernezzo, Manager. He started his career at KPMG Advisory in Milan, where he was part of the Corporate Finance team with a particular focus on M&A in the Consumer & Industrial market. He participated to several buy and sell-side transactions. Before joining Abenex, he worked for more than five years for Insec Equity Partners / Siparex in Milan, where he was part of the investment team with a specific focus on Italian small and mid-cap companies. Jacopo holds a M.Sc in Accounting, Financial Management and Control from Bocconi University in Milan, he speaks English, French and German.
Pietro Razzi, Analyst. Before joining Abenex, he gained experience in audit at KPMG in Milan, as well as in M&A at Klecha&Co in Paris. Pietro holds a M.Sc. in Accounting, Financial Management and Control from Bocconi University in Milan, he speaks English and French.

Abenex is currently deploying its sixth fund (Abenex VI), which makes investments between €30m and €100m per transaction, both as majority and minority investor. In September 2022, Abenex invested in Di Marco, the leading Italian player in the Pinsa Romana market.
