Julien Vagner is a Partner in Abenex’s Small-Cap team, which he joined in 2026. He has over 15 years of experience in private equity and buyout transactions. Prior to joining Abenex, Julien was a Partner at TCR Capital, where he co-managed France Transmission I, a fund dedicated to Small-Cap buyout transactions in France. He previously spent seven years at 3i Group as an Investment Director, completing numerous investment and exit transactions in the small and mid-cap segments. In addition to his investment career, Julien has built strong operational experience, having spent over 11 years as Co-CEO of Groupe Reborn / MCC, an SME specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of spare parts for classic vehicles, as well as in the development of electric vehicles. In this role, he led two LBO transactions, supported a period of strong growth, executed an international expansion through an acquisition, and drove a major industrial and digital transformation.
