Caroline Folleas

Caroline is a Partner within Abenex’s Mid-Cap team, which she joined in April 2026. She brings over 25 years of experience across investment banking and private equity.

She previously led healthcare investments at Cathay Capital Private Equity across Small and Mid-Cap strategies, completing the platform’s first investment in Italy and expanding its pan-European footprint. She also worked at Mérieux Equity Partners, a Mid-Cap healthcare fund with €1bn AuM, where she completed a SaaS / AI investment. Prior to that, she spent 13 years at L Catterton, a leading global consumer-focused investment firm backed by LVMH, contributing to more than ten Mid-Cap investments and exits across Europe. Caroline began her career at BNP Paribas in Leveraged Finance in France and Italy, and on the trading floor in Argentina as an FX derivatives salesperson.

She is actively committed to gender parity in private equity, founding and chairing Level 20 France, and is a member of the France Invest Talent & Diversity Commission. She is also a mentor for Article 1, a charity dedicated to equal opportunities. Caroline graduated from ESCP Business School, with studies in Paris, Oxford and Berlin.
