Abenex strengthens its ESG commitment and releases its first Sustainability Report

Abenex announces the release of its first Sustainability Report, focusing on its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) performance as well as its portfolio companies’, and highlighting its resolute commitment towards a more sustainable future.
The United Nations at COP26 Climate Summit warned that goals of the global climate pledges are off track and could lead to a 2.7°C temperature rise this century, generating catastrophic climate change, with more severe droughts and intense rainfall, impacting almost all regions of the world. As responsible investor, Abenex understands the importance to play its part in limiting the climate impact of its operations and to act now with its ecosystem of portfolio companies, by defining specific ESG action plans and tracking ESG objectives yearly.
This inaugural report affirms Abenex’s desire to disclose publicly extra financial data in an effort to share transparently its ESG processes, metrics and progress, and to foster a positive impact on its portfolio companies and all of its key stakeholders.
