David Giroflier

David is an Associate in Abenex's Mid-Cap team, which he joined in June 2026. David brings nearly 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, acquired on large-scale transactions in Europe. Before joining Abenex, David was Senior Principal at Cinven, where he worked for nearly 14 years within the TMT and Financial Services sector teams, as well as the France regional team. He has participated in numerous buyout transactions in Europe, including MásMóvil, Finaxy, Viridium, NewDay, Tractel and Visma, and served on the board of directors of several of these participations. Before Cinven, David worked in M&A at HSBC in Paris, working in various sectors including industry, aerospace and consumer goods. David is a graduate of HEC Paris.
