ADF Group acquires Tournaire’s equipment business and accelerates its diversification towards Biochemistry and Health

Grasse, July 2nd, 2021 – ADF Group, a major player in engineering and maintenance services for industry, announces the acquisition of Tournaire Equipement SAS, a subsidiary of Tournaire Group. With this additional expertise in the extraction of flavors and fragrances from natural raw materials, ADF Group confirms its positioning in the cosmetics, perfumery, food and health sectors.

The acquisition is effective since July 1st, 2021 Tournaire was founded in 1833 within the first perfume distillers of plants in Grasse and is now considered as a pioneer in the engineering of raw materials processing for fragrance. The group is organized around two activities:

– Equipment, Tournaire is recognized as a leader in engineering, manufacturing, installing and initiating of pilot or production units for complete and customized processing of raw materials;

– Packaging, with the widest range of technical packaging (one-piece aluminum and co-extruded plastic) on the market.

ADF Group acquires the entire Tournaire Equipment subsidiary. Tournaire Group will henceforth concentrate entirely on the sensitive materials packaging activity. Tournaire Equipement team is composed of around thirty people, based in Grasse.

Industrial modernization and ecological transition assisting For three decades, ADF Group has been providing equipment and service solutions for the chemical and fine chemical industries. This acquisition allows it to expand its expertise in the field of biochemistry, a real growth vector for the health, food and cosmetics industries. This acquisition is part of the CSR approach initiated by the group in 2014, aiming at offering its customers solutions that respect natural resources.
