Abenex invests in Groupe ESCG

Abenex invests in Groupe ESCG to optimize its development alongside its founder Gilles Samama

The founder of ESCG, Gilles Samama, welcomes Abenex as a reference shareholder in the group’s capital. Founded in 1987, Groupe ESCG specializes in work-study training in accounting (BTS CG, DCG, DSCG) with two campuses, located in Paris and Nice. The group is training more than 500 students for the year 2021-2022, thanks to a strong teaching staff composed of experts recognized in their fields as well as an experienced administrative team.

The group has built its reputation on its ability to help students find a host company for their work-study training. Groupe ESCG can rely on a network of alumni made up of several thousand students who have been trained in accounting for more than 30 years, as well as on a large network and partnership agreements with accounting firms (including a privileged partnership between ESCG Nice and the Conseil de l’Ordre des Experts-Comptables of the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region).

With the support of Abenex, Groupe ESCG wishes to accelerate its development in France, starting with the opening of two new campuses; one in Lyon and one in Marseille in 2022.

“We are delighted to be in a position to write the next page in the history of the ESCG alongside Gilles Samama. Groupe ESCG has been able to position itself on high-quality training in a booming accounting market that is constantly looking for new candidates to recruit”, says Paul Bertrand, Partner at Abenex.

“Abenex quickly appeared to be the ideal partner to support me in accelerating the development of Group ESCG, while preserving the values that have shaped its history”, adds Gilles Samama, founder of the group.
